WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR? Everyone from complete beginners to unsure sewists with a new machine. You will learn everything you need to know about your sewing machine to confidently use in any sewing projects. WHAT WILL THE WORKSHOP COVER? + How to thread your machine + Adjusting the machine for different fabrics/projects + Basic sewing WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: If you’re unsure on any of the below pieces of equipment, please send us an email to stitcheshuntingdon@gmail.com. + Notebook and pens/pencils + Your own sewing machine, with its user manual. The manual is very important as every machine is different. If you have lost the manual please ensure you have a printed version from online sources. + Lots of fabric scraps for practice during the lesson. WORKSHOP EXTRAS INCLUDE: The supportive, friendly and knowledgeable tutor goes without saying but also available will be: + We will provide you with some colour threads to thread your machine + An ironing board station. + Hot drinks and a sweet treat to keep you going.
